D Sharp Minor

Jack composed an album of songs for some friends in 2008, playing all the instruments and mixing the recording himself. Click here to listen to one of the tracks. For free. As, like, a gift. Enjoy!

Strangers: the Soundtrack

Director/producer Justin Bush asked Jack to score his short film, Strangers. It was kind of a weird film, so Jack wrote kind of a weird soundtrack.

Here is a condensed version. Kudos to Paul Kopetko for his awesome beats between 0:54 and 01:10.

Wondering what the point of this last paragraph is? Trust me, you don't want to know. What? Oh, all right. It's here so the images will line up properly. Happy?

Don't Stall

When he was 18, Jack teamed up with another composer to satirise the following trends in hip hop and R&B: objectification of women disguised as empowerment, shameless glorification of commercialism, unpleasant sexual metaphors, terrible grammar, and music so repetetive it makes Beyonce's "Halo" sound like a Weird Al polka by comparison.

They spent all morning writing, all afternoon recording, and what emerged that night was Don't Stall, by "Jaqi H feat P Kizzle". Jack would like to apologise to The Black Eyed Peas and their song My Humps, which he says he actually loves.

Warning: Not suitable for listeners under the age of 18 - contains coarse language and strong sexual references. Also, if you're under 18, you're unlikely to remember the genre being parodied. (Although Lady Gaga is trying her best to revive it.)
